The Julie Jellyfish Adirondack chair makes a perfect gift for any boy or girl. Weight-bearing sections are assembled with strong nuts and bolts rather than screws. Rounded heads and rounded acorn nuts are utilized to eliminate any sharp hazards. Julie's base color is a fun, bright Aqua Green that grabs your attention and is proven to be a real hit with boys and girls of all ages. Julie herself is hand-painted on the seat back in a bright pink color. Kids love being able to associate a character with a name they can easily remember and tell everyone about! All paints used comply, not only with the original ASTM standards, but also with the new CPSIA (HR 4040) standards. Bottom line: No need to worry if these chairs are safe for kids, because they are. While the paint coatings are very durable, they are not meant to be left outdoors in the elements for extended periods of time. Indoor storage is recommended when not in use.
Assembly is a snap since the back and bottom sections are pre-assembled when they arrive, leaving only the back legs and arms to bolt on. A phillips/flathead screwdriver and adjustable pliers (and about 15 minutes) are all that are needed to start enjoying backyard time with your little one in their new Julie Jellyfish Adirondack chair.
