Returns and CancellationsOrder cancellation
We understand that mistakes happen and you may find that you need to cancel an order. All we ask is that you Contact us as soon as possible with your order number so we can attempt to stop the order.

If we are not able to stop the process and your order ships out, you can still return the item(s) for a refund, minus shipping costs (see RMA section below).

If we are able to stop the order before it ships, we will be happy to issue a full refund.
Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with all or part of your order, we will be happy to issue a refund, as described below. In all cases, we ask that you please request an RMA (an item return form). A Cool Kid will accept returns for up to 25 calendar days from the date on your invoice:

Items that are returned in new condition and in the original packaging qualify for a refund, minus shipping costs and a 15% re-stocking fee.

If you place a new order before we process your refund, we will waive the re-stocking fee.

Manufacturer defects will be exchanged for a new item at no additional cost to you.

Shipping charges will only be refunded in the event that we made a shipment error.

You will be responsible for return shipping charges unless it is due to a manufacturer defect, or we made a mistake in your order. Please add insurance to your shipments for retail value.

In no case will refunds be issued where items have been assembled.
Damaged Shipments
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If the actual item inside the box is damaged, please refuse the delivery due to the damage and immediately send us an e-mail with the information located on the shipping label (shipper and tracking number). It's much easier to process returns this way and will expedite our being able to send a replacement to you. In most cases, the cardboard shipping box will have minor scrapes but the contents will be completely unharmed. Please do not refuse shipment unless the actual contents are damaged.
Undeliverable Shipments
This section does not apply to items refused due to damage in transit.
All items returned to us as "Undeliverable" or "Refused" will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee and no shipping charges will be refunded. Additional shipping charges will be incurred if you want the item re-delivered after it is returned to us.
How To Request an RMA (required for all returns)
An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is a process in which you fill in a short form detailing your return request. We approve the request and supply you with an RMA number. This helps to keep returns as orderly and painless as possible and assures you that we will be on the lookout for your return.

To start the return process (the RMA), login to your account.

Under the "My Orders" area, click the link that says "RMA Request".

Review the details of the order you wish to return and click the "RMA Request" link.

Answer all questions completely and then click on the "Submit" button.

We will process the request and send you an e-mail with the RMA number and shipping details.

Your RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping box. Any return without an RMA number will be considered an unauthorized return, and subject to rejection.

Important: Do not return your item without RMA approval from us.
